Nicky is a promising amateur racer who lives in a small village in the south of Belgium. He lives for his passion and competes in all the races. He’s about to turn into a pro, making him a local hero of this community. But then disaster strikes when he gets into a car accident, preventing him to ever race again. He tries to relive his lost dream by pressuring his nephew to compete but this will only cause his own downfall.

Bio Director
Lieven studied at the RITCS film academy in Brussels. He quickly became a director of photography for a series of commercials, documentaries and features. He took his first steps as a director with his short The Tread in 2000. In 2002 he signed up with CZAR BE and immediately won international prizes for his commercials. Recently he received a MIA for directing Stromae’s videoclip Ta Fête. This will be his first feature as a director.
