Diego Santana Claudino
Brazilian-born and Brussels-based, Diego Santa Claudino is a director focused on human stories. Emotion lies at the core of his work, reflected in the unique texture of his films, where narratives relies on truth and sensitivity, even when addressing the most delicate topics. With a relentless attention for casting and image, he crafts touching messages that echo our times.
Diego was part of direction duo Salsa, but in 2026 they decided to pursue their own paths. In 2015, they won First Prize at the Young Director Awards in Cannes and since made films for Coca-Cola, IKEA, Toyota, Citroën, Adidas, Chevrolet, Decathlon and Pfizer. Their work has received recognition at the Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, The One Show, London International Awards, Eurobest, Epica, The New York Festivals, Ciclope, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, MTV Europe Music Awards, Shots Awards, Lürzer’s Archive and Director’s Library, among others.
Now working independently, Diego continues to develop his voice as a director, with human stories at the core of his work.
