Jeppe was born in Aarhus, Denmark, and worked as a professional musician until he graduated in Film Science and Art History from the University of Copenhagen. Since then he has directed extremely successful feature films, TV series, documentaries and commercials.

His debut feature, ‘Jerusalem My Love’ won countless international prizes and his second, ‘The Swenkas’ won Jeppe the best International director award at the Toronto Film Festival. He’s won several ‘Roberts’ (which are the Danish equivalent of the Oscars) for his tv and feature length documentary work.

In commercials, Jeppe was voted the top director in Denmark in 2010, and at the Cannes Ad Festival in 2013, he won a Gold Lion for Best Direction, plus a bronze for cinematography for Come4 ‘The Lover’, a seemingly seedy look at one mans obsession with sex and prostitution, with a twist. The film also won the Craft Grand Prix at Eurobest. His Momondo ‘DNA Journey’ made the list of top 20 most shared viral spots in 2016 and picked up awards at most of the important international festivals, including 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 2 Bronze Cannes Lions.

In 2015 ‘Bridgend’ premiered at the Tribeca Film festival in New York, winning 3 of the 6 main awards – Best Actress, Best Cinematography and Best Editing. In 2019, after also premiering at Tribeca Film Festival, his documentary ‘Almost Human’ won Best Feature Film.

He is an extremely talented director with a vast variety of  skills and an impressive portfolio. His craft has allowed him to accomplish some great projects, with international recognition.
